ASUU UPDATE : FG Reveals When Strike Will Be Called Off Naija News

The Federal Government, on Thursday said the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, will be called off within a week.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, while meeting with Senate Committee on Tertiary Education at the National Assembly complex.
Recall that ASUU had few days ago commenced an indefinite strike across the nation.

Luck ran out of a suspected thief who confessed having once escaped from Police cell and also just finished serving a one year jail term as he was arrested by security operatives on Thursday. 

A suspected thief identified as Madabuchukwu Unamba, who also works as a bus conductor was arrested on Thursday by operatives of Imo security Network in Oru West area of the state, for same offence he served a one-year-jail sentence for.

 

The native of Ebonyi state who confessed having once escaped from Police cell, broke into a shop, alongside his driver accomplice, Nwa Papa, and stole eleven (11)Vehicle batteries, one (1) Tiger Power Generating set as well as five (5) mobile Phones.

 

However they ran out of luck, as they were nabbed.
